Trekking Itinerary:
Day 1: Sembalun Village – Sembalun Crater Rim (Pelawangan Sembalun)
- **06:00** – Breakfast at your hotel in Senaru/Sembalun, then transfer to Sembalun Village (1,150 m).
- **07:00** – Registration at Rinjani National Park office, meet your trekking guide and porters.
- **07:30** – Start trekking from Sembalun Village.
- Walk through open savanna, gentle ascent.
- **Rest Points:** Pos 1 (Pemantauan, 1,300 m), Pos 2 (Tengengean, 1,500 m), Pos 3 (Pada Balong, 1,800 m).
- **Lunch** at Pos 2 or 3 (depending on pace).
- **13:00** – Continue trek to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m).
- Steeper climb, beautiful views of the Rinjani caldera and summit.
- **16:00** – Arrive at Sembalun Crater Rim.
- Set up camp, enjoy sunset, dinner prepared by porters.
- Overnight in tents at the crater rim.

Day 2: Summit Attempt – Sembalun Village – Transfer
- **02:00** – Wake up, light breakfast (hot drinks, biscuits).
- **02:30** – Start summit attack (3,726 m).
- Steep, loose volcanic scree, challenging climb.
- Bring headlamp, warm clothing, snacks, and water.
- **06:00** – Reach Mount Rinjani Summit.
- Enjoy sunrise, panoramic views of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.
- Take photos, rest.
- **07:00** – Descend back to Sembalun Crater Rim.
- Hot breakfast at camp.
- **09:00** – Descend to Sembalun Village.
- Lunch en route (Pos 2 or 3).
- **15:00** – Arrive at Sembalun Village.
- Transfer to your next destination (Senaru, Senggigi, Bangsal, or airport).
- End of program.
Note: This program is physically demanding and suitable for experienced trekkers. Proper acclimatization and fitness are required.
